Writing Resources
At Harris Girls’ Academy Bromley, we want to ensure we continue to stimulate the creativity and originality of our young writers during school closure and beyond. In addition to the project work we are setting, we have also sourced the websites below for students to peruse and engage with at their own leisure.
1. The website for World Book Day has a range of interesting resources you can use for secondary learners. This includes online writing master classes from published authors as well as extracts from a range of popular fiction texts for teenagers.

2. Run by the Poetry Society, this website details a range of poetry writing competitions, both past and present, that your daughter can access and, where possible, submit an entry to.
