Attendance

Outstanding attendance and punctuality are essential. The Academy has the highest possible expectations of the girls and they attend regularly and enjoy learning. Indeed attendance is well above the national average for all girls.

Contacting the Academy

Please contact us as soon as possible to inform us of any absence the same day. To report any absence, inform us of any future absence or advise us of changes to contact details, please contact the Academy and ask to speak to the Attendance Officer on 020 8778 5917 or email her on info@harrisbromley.org.uk.

Any other issues or concerns should be directed to your child’s form tutor, who will deal with these in the first instance.

Adverse weather

In the event of adverse weather conditions, it will always be Harris Girls' Academy Bromley’s intention to stay open until we believe it is in the best interests and safety of our students and staff to close.

Should the Academy have to close, we will inform parents by our Call Parent Email System via either email or text; you will receive this if you have informed the Academy of your current mobile and contact information.

A notice will also be placed on the Academy’s website as soon as possible.
