HGABR Art Teacher Shortlisted For Prize
We are very proud that our art teacher, Ms Baldwin, has been shortlisted for the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize.
Ms Baldwin and her sister (pictured), who work under the name Lake Twins, will be showing their most recent drawing in the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Exhibition at the end of this month, before touring to exhibition venues across the UK.
Ms Baldwin is one of just 94 artists shortlisted for the prize, selected from over 3,200 entries from 1,617 drawing practitioners from 45 different countries. So to be shortlisted is a huge accolade. You can see the shortlisted picture below.
The exhibition opens at Trinity Buoy Wharf on the 28th September and finishes on 16th October before an annual UK tour.
The Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize is supported by the Trinity Buoy Wharf Trust. The annual open exhibition is known for its celebration and promotion of excellence in contemporary drawing practice.
