World Book Day 2022 - Treasure Hunt

A huge thank you to all staff that took part in World Book Day!

The library was really busy and the treasure hunt was a great success - we had 114 entries in the main draw to win a book from a selection in the library and all entrants received a book token, sweets and a bookmark.

The quote "Beware; for I am fearless, and therefore powerful", by Mary Shelley, resonated with a lot of students especially when they recognised this was girl power in its original form (albeit taken from the book Frankenstein!) It was a quote to empower students in recognition of International Women's Day.

It really was wonderful to see so many students actively engaged in the treasure hunt. Next year's promises to be bigger and better with even more fantastic staff outfits!
