A Level & Ctec Results day 2020
It was wonderful to welcome the Year 13 students back to Harris Girls' Academy Bromley to receive their A level and Ctec results today. Students were celebrating that they had achieved places at their chosen universities to study a variety of courses ranging from mechanical engineering, midwifery, pharmacology, animation, law and sport psychology. Overall 30% of students will be attending Russell Group universities including Warwick, Birmingham, Leeds and Kings, which is significantly above the national average. Students who have chosen to pursue apprenticeships have made impressive applications to international organisations in, amongst others, the fields of business management and finance.
In unprecedented times we are extremely proud of our students results. Notably the percentage of A and A* grades has more than doubled this year. We wish our students all the best with their future studies and chosen destinations and look forward to them returning to the academy to share their career experience with our younger students in the months ahead.
