Allotment Update: Whole Kids Foundation - School Food Matters
HGABR are working with Whole Kids Foundation and School Food Matters, to further our growing allotment offer.
Whole Kids Foundation is dedicated to helping kids eat better - and enjoy it! They are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) founded by Whole Foods Market and guided by the same values, principles, expertise and standards for quality ingredients, food production methods and nutrition.
School Food Matters campaigns for fresh, sustainable school meals and delivers food education programs to get children cooking, growing and out onto a farm.
“Our mission is to ensure that every child enjoys fresh sustainable food at school and understands where their food comes from.”
School Food Matters was founded in 2007 by parent Stephanie Wood, inspired by environmentalist Zac Goldsmith, then the parliamentary candidate for Richmond Park.
Thanks to their generous donation, the school can develop our allotment offer and allow our students a better experience within horticulture.
