Dance
Through composition, performance and appreciation, students can study Dance in a way that allows for holistic learning.
They are given the opportunity to explore cultural differences by experiencing a range of styles, therefore developing their appreciation for diversity at the school.
Dance enables students from all cultural and socio-economic backgrounds to work together. We encourage commitment in Dance, through providing enrichment and performance opportunities to further develop their passion, alongside their technical proficiency.
Student’s communication and leadership skills are developed through the choreographic process of creating Dance in a highly engaging and inventive way. They are also encouraged to be reflective through self-assessment. They are taught to be disciplined and independent learners and this is done within a supportive environment.
